Fees can be confusing. Finding out why someone charges what they do for their service and what comes with that price can be a tough conversation to have. So, we're having it here.
The average Day Of Coordinator in Denver charges about $1,200 for eight hours. We're a bit less than that. Why? Because we know that costs can add up very quickly when you're planning a wedding, and every little bit helps. We don't have an office. We don't have a side business renting decorations. We keep our website simple and run it ourselves. We know that sometimes you just need to talk through everything with an unbiased party.
We have chosen not to attend bridal shows, because the cost of the table and the time is not the best use of our time. We don't take out ads, because we'd rather work with couples who are referred to us. We spend our days connecting with other vendors, searching for new ideas and connections to better serve our clients.
One trick businesses will try is to have short-term deals to rope you in. We tried that, and found that our clients preferred honest quotes from the beginning. So, we don't do that anymore. One reasonable price, all year long. No gimmicks, no tricks, no hidden fees.
A common question is about how our Day Of Coordinator package works. About six weeks before your wedding, we will contact all your vendors and chat with them about their needs, what time they plan on arriving, what their plan is for the day, and how we can help them. We put together a timeline of everyone's movements so there's no surprises. We're there to help run the rehearsal, from tips to looking great in photos to who is walking down the aisle in what order. Then, on the big day, we are there from the minute the venue allows us on the property until your contract with them states we have to leave. We pack up your gifts and personal decorations and pack them in a vehicle for you. We coordinate with your vendors on your entrance, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, and any other events you want to take place. We help with packing up and getting your guests home safely, so all you (and your family) have to do is say goodnight. We average 5 hours of pre-wedding planning and timeline development, and about 10 hours on the wedding day.
We do our best to troubleshoot throughout your wedding day on our own, to allow you to relax and enjoy. Your top priority should be enjoying the months (or years!) of planning you went through to get to this day. That's why our tagline is:
We plan. You Relax.
